Planned Project: Sustainable Livelihood and Social Development Project (SLSD)
The border areas between Afghanistan and Pakistan have been trapped in a vicious circle of violence, poverty, displacement and other forms of human suffering caused by the protracted conflict. The strategic focus of the proposed project is to deliver development assistance to the area in order to alleviate human suffering, enhance human security by the transformation of local conflicts, mitigate the negative impacts of violence on vulnerable groups and improve the living conditions of the population.
