International Conference of the Club of Rome, 17 and 18 November in Bern

Strategies for International Development Cooperation in the 21^st Century

In cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), an international conference of the Club of Rome was held on 17 and 18 November 2010 in Bern. More than 50 experts from all over the world were invited to the conference entitled “Concerted Strategies for International Development in the 21st Century”, at which they held discussions on future strategies for international development cooperation.

In his address entitled “Perspectives from the North and South”, SDC Director-General Martin Dahinden spoke to the assembly about the new challenges confronting international development cooperation.
