Achieving universal health coverage remains a key challenge not only in developing countries but also in developed ones. In order to drive the debate and decision-making towards this objective, both political will and sufficient financial resources are needed. True interdisciplinary and multi-level partnerships can provide the necessary knowledge needed to strengthen health systems."
