University students (in Switzerland) and civilian service (both in Switzerland and abroad)
The SDC helps university students to gain practical experience on the labour market. Traineeships are available to students from various branches of study. The SDC also has a limited number of civil service positions available.
Internships for college and university students
For college and university undergraduates, it is possible to carry out internships related to their field of study.
Community service volunteers The SDC offers a limited number of community service assignments in Switzerland and abroad. In principle, assignments in all SDC activity areas are possible. An assignment lasts a minimum of three months in Switzerland and six months abroad.
Internship as part of Information Science degree coursesThe SDC offers one work placement a year as part of a degree course or to meet Information Science course admission requirements. This placement generally lasts nine to thirteen months.
