Staff of the Directorate

The Staff of the Directorate is responsible for preparing the decisions taken by the Board of Directors. It follows up the business of the SDC through the political negotiations process, generates the necessary financial data and statistics needed for steering, oversees the strategic thrust and effectiveness of SDC activities, and supports coherent communication of SDC policy both within SDC and vis-à-vis the general public. In executing these tasks, it makes use of the services of five organizational units: Planning and Coordination, Corporate Controlling, Financial Planning, Statistics, and Internal Communication.
