The Global Programme Food Security is an operationally active, thematically oriented division that contributes to finding solutions to the global challenge of food security. It advocates enhancing the development of multi-functional and sustainable agriculture on the basis of family-enterprise operations, takes part in policy dialogue, and represents Switzerland in multilateral institutions and programmes on agriculture and agro-research. In cooperation with the private sector, research institutions, and civil society, it develops innovate contributions for long-term food security.
