Information for SDC Contractors
As a contractual partner (SDC Contractor), here you will find useful information and necessary documents in connection with a mandate (contract) of type A, type B, or a contract with fiduciary funds management. The Competence Centre Contracts and Procurement is the competent Organizational Unit (OU) for this at SDC, and as such is responsible for the internal guidelines regulating the remuneration of contractors.
Information for SDC consultants: standardisation of flight classes
From now on, consultants will be expected to travel in economy class regardless of the distance covered.
In the framework of mandates (incl. mandates for project implementation), the SDC formerly made exceptions for flights by consultants of more than 3000 miles. For reasons of equality of treatment, this practice has now been standardised in the Department.
This regulation is based on the article 13 para 2 of FDFA Directive 330-0 on Public Procurement of Services and Mandates according to which mandates generally travel in economy class.
This new regulation will be part of all new contracts for mandates (incl. mandates for project implementation). In the case of contracts of a certain duration which are still being performed, consultants will be contacted by the SDC to discuss possible methods of application of this new regulation.
Thank you for your understanding.
Contractor and Creditor Data
Your informational details as put down in the form Contractor / Creditor Data make it possible for us to enter and record the correct and gap-free data on your person or company that is
needed for a smooth administrative contractual execution (drawing up the contract, payment, deduction of social contributions, tax certificate, etc.).
As a gainfully-employed natural person (Type A), we would kindly request you to also fill out paragraph 2 on the 2nd page. If necessary, please be so kind as to annex your AHV/AVS social-security card.
Submission of Offer
The Form for submitting your offer for the upcoming mandate is required in any and all cases, and it is to be submitted on the basis of the already known information from the competent operational OU. In addition, you need for example the Form for travel reimbursement, as well as the List for food reimbursement and hotel allowances for the costs to be expected for food and lodging.
The invoicing for the contractually agreed expenditures takes place with the help of the Expense account form. For this, you can also refer to information contained in the General Conditions of Business (GCB), where you will also find a description of the legal basis for mandates.
